Experience Island Life the Traditional Way
    Keelooma Island Camp

Live the island life the way it was meant to be. Stay in one of our traditional bahay kubos and experience the charm of Palawan in its most natural form.

    BAHAY KUBO
The bahay kubo is an icon of Philippine culture. At Keelooma, our bahay kubos are built around the principle of communal living and sustainable architecture. The structure is crafted from bamboo and has a thatched roof of nipa providing a bright and airy space that is cooled by the steady flow of fresh cooling air coming in from the Sulu Sea. The open concept is preserved to create a harmony of indoor and outdoor living.

Savor the Flavors of the Sea and the Land
Taste of the Island’s Filipino Food

Fresh, local, and cooked with care — that’s the Keelooma way. Our meals feature the fresh catch of the day and locally sourced vegetables from around the archipelago. Whether you’re dining aboard our boat or enjoying a meal at Keelooma Island Camp, every meal is shared in a communal setting that brings people together.

Join fellow travelers for a relaxed dining experience where stories flow as easily as the sea breeze. Unplug, unwind, and enjoy the flavors of traditional Filipino food while sharing good company and good conversation.

    Alfresco Dining
Dining by the sea takes on a new meaning at Keelooma. Watch the sunset over the Sulu Sea, then enjoy an evening meal beneath the stars as you savor freshly caught seafood and island-inspired dishes.

Your stay includes three meals a day, along with coffee, tea, and water. Fresh coconuts, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

If you have special dietary needs, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are also available.

    Locally Sourced
We take pride in supporting local farmers and sustainable food practices. Keelooma sources poultry and pork from nearby communities, ensuring a steady supply of fresh eggs and meat. Whenever possible, fruits and vegetables are grown right here on the island, giving every meal a touch of freshness straight from our land and sea.

    What to Expect
A Keelooma Voyage is a back to basics island adventure through the Linapacan archipelago. There is no fixed route as our crew adjusts the itinerary based on sea and weather conditions to ensure the best possible experience each day.

You’ll sleep in simple, comfortable kubos equipped with bedding, mosquito nets, and ocean breezes. Our camps and boats have clean but basic toilet and shower facilities that follow traditional Filipino tabo practices.

Some of the islands we visit are uninhabited, while others are home to small fishing communities. We are grateful to live and work among the locals and ask all guests to respect their privacy and way of life.
